A New Heritage of Giving, a special initiative created to promote and increase the impact of Asian American philanthropy, is supported by grants from Booth Ferris Foundation, C.J. Huang Foundation and Merrill Lynch & Co. Foundation, Inc.

A New Heritage of Giving, is administered by Asian American Federation of New York and is a partner of the Coalition for New Philanthropy. The Coalition promotes strategic philanthropy, which is focused, informed and sustained giving and volunteering, among Asian, Latino and African American donor communities of the New York Metropolitan Area. The programs of the Coalition include donor education workshops, seminars for professional advisors on charitable planning and philanthropic traditions of emerging donor communities, publications and research.
